Himalaya Camp, Gopeng, Perak

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I took a whole week off work, and it was enjoyable. It's been a while since I last got such a good rest. The first weekend I visited my in-laws, and then I started September with a family gathering. We went to the Himalaya Camp in Gopeng, Perak. Initially, we wanted to book on the weekend, but the place was fully booked on the weekend till December. Hence, we had no choice but to book a 2-day 1-night stay on Tuesday.

Like most vacation spots in Gopeng, the Himalaya Camp is situated deep in the forest, surrounded by nature, and offers a range of adventurous activities for its guests, including kayaking, ATV rides, and, coming soon, a flying fox. It consists of dome-like rooms and A-shaped rooms. It also provides a campsite for tents and a camper van site. It has its own website for booking. The hotline number also helped a lot, as I had too many questions to ask them. Shoutout to Wani - thank you for your patience and prompt response. Here(click) is the link to the website, and the hotline number is +6011-2982 8746.

The check-in time was 3:00 pm, but we were able to check in earlier, around 2:00 pm, as the rooms were ready. Booking during the weekdays was worth it after all. Every dome was provided with typical necessities and also a BBQ pit, while the private toilet is located outside the dome. There is also a hall, a cafe, and a mart in the camp area. The camp is also within walking distance of Sungai Geroh, where we can enjoy swimming in the river.

The camp's cafe offers a minimum booking for dinner of 15pax. They have a variety of foods to choose from. After dinner, we went to ride the slide as the slide was closed during rainfall in the daytime. I also remember the sound of rainfall later that night during our stay. It was calming. Fortunately, the sky was clear the next day.

My family and I had a very wonderful time here, staying far from the city once in a while. I highly recommend the Himalaya Camp for those of you who love nature and activities like those they have here.

Till then, Lya.
